I had the incredible pleasure of meeting Rachel through her mural mentorship program at the Calgary Home and Garden Show, and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience! Rachel's teaching skills are top-notch; she made every concept accessible and easy to understand. She provided a wonderful space for creativity to flourish and was always there with encouragement and support. Even after the program ended, Rachel continued to offer her guidance and mentorship. Her dedication and passion are truly inspiring. Rachel has the biggest heart, and working with her has been an absolute joy. I highly recommend!

Rachel is an amazing mentor! She was very well-organized and prepared with supplies for the weekend of painting. She was highly knowledgeable on ways to transfer the concept to the wall surface and extremely helpful with techniques and ways to improve our efficiency throughout the painting process.

Rachel was also incredibly helpful with marketing and self-promotion techniques after our time together. She shared important tips on things to be cautious of and ways to protect ourselves when working on certain types of projects—insights that I now take into consideration when approaching new clients and leads

I am very fortunate to have had the chance to work with Rachel and learn from her years of experience. She is an amazing person, artist, and businesswoman, and I am a much more confident artist after crossing paths with her!

Rachel was a very generous mentor. I was part of a cohort of 5 artists who got to learn from Rachel over the course of a month leading up to the live mural painting. And in that time period,  she resourced us with best practices, feedback on our concepts, and the incredible opportunity to create and network at the Calgary Fall Home Show. She also provided the opportunity for us to give back, helping us to coordinate donating our murals to the charity of our choice. So much meaning and community was packed into our mentorship with Rachel. She was quick to communicate, easy to relate to, and such a cheerleader for each of our unique gifts as artists. I'm so thankful to have learned from Rachel and to have more confidence to keep pursuing work that I love!

Rachel has been an incredible mentor to me over the past year. I connected with her through Instagram after following along her art journey and feeling very inspired by all that she created. There were many times when I'd ask questions about art and business where she'd not only willingly answer, but go above and beyond with information and resources. 

When Rachel created her mural mentorship program, I knew the opportunity to learn under her would be incredibly beneficial for my art business. As a participant, I had access to her practical tips and experience but most of all, her encouragement. Rachel is as passionate about helping others as she is about her art. Her willingness to take aspiring artists under her wing to mentor and help them grow is truly amazing. In a world where art can be highly reproduced and stolen, it is admirable that she is willing to divulge her expertise and share it with us. 

I would not be the artist that I have become if not for all the guidance I have received from her. I cannot recommend her mentorship enough.

Rachel's Mural Mentorship program is unlike any other learning experience I have participated in. Mentees were provided with not only a real, hands-on opportunity, but also a long term learning platform and support network. The structure of the program was flexible yet rigorous. It encouraged each artist to incorporate prior skills while challenging themselves in a new area.  Rachel is incredibly generous and authentic with her knowledge. She shares her experience openly and has a gift for fostering creative community. I truly enjoyed being a part of this energizing program and can't recommend Rachel enough for her attentive guidance and mentorship!
