About your paint instructor, Rachel:
Rachel Lyon is a Calgary-based muralist and illustrator with over seven years of experience creating bold, vibrant artwork across commercial, residential, and event spaces throughout Canada. Her work is known for its colourful, illustrative style and ability to transform environments into engaging, photo-worthy experiences.
In addition to her mural practice, Rachel brings a passion for sharing her creative process through workshops and community-based art experiences. With a background in large-scale painting, installations, and live art activations, she offers a supportive and approachable learning environment for artists of all skill levels.
Rachel combines artistic expertise with strong project management and attention to detail, guiding participants through creative techniques while encouraging personal expression. Her goal is to help others feel confident exploring their creativity and to create meaningful, memorable art experiences.

Linzy is the founder of BeDazzled by Linzy, a Calgary-based creative experience brand known for transforming events into beautifully styled, memorable experiences full of sparkle and whimsy. With a background in both teaching and corporate event planning, she brings a thoughtful balance of structure, creativity, and elevated design to every experience.
She creates fully hosted, all-inclusive experiences where every detail is thoughtfully taken care of — allowing guests (and hosts) to relax, connect, and immerse themselves in creativity. Her signature workshops are intentionally low-pressure and expressive, inviting guests to explore texture, sparkle, and personal detail to create something uniquely their own.
